This guide gives our published price ranges in dirhams, explains what moves a project up or down its range, and lists the running costs that are easy to forget when the business case is written.

These are the ranges from our AI and ML services guide, converted at the dirham’s fixed rate of AED 3.6725 to the US dollar and rounded. Because the dirham is pegged to the dollar, the AED figures stay stable. They cover the one-off build; model usage, hosting and VAT are extra. Costs that are specific to the UAE
Arabic and English, done properly. UAE customers write in English, Modern Standard Arabic, Gulf dialect and Arabizi, often in the same message. Testing on your real messages, adding examples where quality falls short and building right-to-left screens are part of the scope, so a bilingual assistant usually sits higher in its range than an English-only one.
Data residency. Health, government and some financial data are expected to stay in the country. Major cloud providers run UAE regions, so hosting in-country in your own account is often just a configuration choice. Running an open-source model on your own GPUs, so that no request leaves your environment, costs more to set up and to run than calling a hosted model.
DIFC and ADGM. Companies in DIFC and ADGM work under their own data protection laws, separate from the federal Personal Data Protection Law. Mapping data flows, consent and logging to the right regime is design work that belongs in the quote, not a surprise after launch.
WhatsApp. Most UAE customers would rather message than call. The WhatsApp Business Platform charges for messages, paid to Meta or your messaging provider, so a busy assistant has a messaging line in its running costs as well as a model line.
VAT. Our prices exclude VAT. The UAE’s standard VAT rate is 5%, and your finance team will know how it applies to services bought from a supplier outside the UAE.

How to keep the cost down
- Prove it first. Run one use case on your own data and measure it against a baseline agreed up front. A proof of concept that fails costs weeks, not a full budget.

- Fix the data before the model. Scattered spreadsheets and scanned files are the most common reason a budget grows.
- Keep a person in the loop for costly steps. Approval steps let you launch with the accuracy you have and improve it with real feedback.
