[00] AI development for Egypt

AI Development Company for Businesses in Cairo and across Egypt

Egyptian companies serve one of the largest customer bases in the Arab world, so AI that answers questions, reads documents and predicts demand at volume pays back quickly. Customers write in Egyptian Arabic, invoices go through the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing system, and Law No. 151 of 2020 governs personal data.

The market

What businesses in Egypt need from AI. The market in six points.

AppsInAi is an AI development company based in Coimbatore, India, with clients across the GCC and the wider Middle East. We define the business problem, prepare the data, select or train the model, test it on separate data and then deploy, integrate and support it, all delivered remotely with hours that overlap the Egyptian working day.

Typical projects include Egyptian Arabic customer assistants on WhatsApp and the web, support ticket triage, invoice and document automation, and demand and churn models for retail, telecom and finance.

  1. m.01

    A national AI strategy

Egypt's National AI Strategy and Vision 2030 encourage AI adoption in government services and industry, and buyers increasingly ask suppliers for AI that improves a measurable service.

  2. m.02

    Personal Data Protection Law

Law No. 151 of 2020 sets rules on consent, processing, security and cross-border transfers of personal data, with a Personal Data Protection Centre as regulator. AI systems need these rules built in from the start.

  3. m.03

    Customer service at scale

A large population means large volumes of calls, chats and tickets. Assistants and triage models that resolve routine requests let teams focus on the cases that need a person.

  4. m.04

    Egyptian Arabic, understood everywhere

Customers write in Egyptian dialect, Franco-Arabic (Arabic in Latin letters), Modern Standard Arabic and English. Assistants must handle all of them and reply in a natural Egyptian tone.

  5. m.05

    ETA e-invoicing and e-receipts

The Egyptian Tax Authority requires electronic invoices and receipts, so automation that reads or creates invoices has to fit those formats and keep amounts and taxes exact.

  6. m.06

    Cost per conversation matters

With high volumes, the cost of each AI answer adds up. We choose models and caching so the running cost per conversation fits your budget, and measure it in the pilot.

Ask us directly
Do you have an office in Egypt?

No. Our team is based in Coimbatore, India, and we serve Egyptian clients remotely, with office hours that overlap the Egyptian morning and calls later in the day by arrangement.

How much does AI development cost in Egypt?

Our published ranges are in US dollars: $10,000 – $50,000 for a small project such as chatbots and assistants on your documents or basic predictive models; $50,000 – $200,000 for a medium-scale project such as recommendation engines or data analytics and BI platforms; and from $200,000 for an enterprise solution. We recommend starting with a fixed-price proof of concept of 3–6 weeks. Model usage, hosting and taxes are extra. We quote and invoice in US dollars, or in Egyptian pounds by agreement.

How long does an AI project take?

We recommend proving the approach with a proof of concept first, which takes 3–6 weeks. After that, the build usually takes 6–12 weeks for a small project, 3–6 months for a medium-scale one, and 6 months or more, in phases, for an enterprise solution. Integrations with several systems and data that needs cleaning or labelling add time; after discovery you get a plan with milestones.

Do you work with companies in Cairo and Alexandria?

Yes. We work with businesses in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and across Egypt. Projects run remotely, with video calls and regular demos in the Cairo morning, and calls later in the day by arrangement.

Can the AI understand Egyptian Arabic?

Yes, in most cases. Current language models handle Egyptian Arabic well because so much of it is written online. We test with your real messages, including Franco-Arabic, and add examples or fine-tune where needed.

How do you keep running costs down at high volume?

We pick the smallest model that meets your quality bar, cache common answers and send only hard cases to larger models. The pilot reports the cost per conversation so you can plan the budget.

Where will our data be hosted?

On your own servers or in the cloud account and region you choose. We review your data classification and obligations under Law No. 151 of 2020 with you before the build.

Can you automate invoices under ETA e-invoicing?

Yes. We build document AI and RPA that read supplier invoices, match them to orders and prepare or check e-invoices and e-receipts in the Egyptian Tax Authority's formats, with your accounting or e-invoicing system staying the system of record.

Will the AI connect to our CRM and contact-centre systems?

Usually yes, through APIs, database connections or RPA where a system has no API, so the assistant can see order and account details and hand a conversation to an agent with its history.

How do we get started?

Book a free 30-minute consultation. We discuss the problem, look at the data you have and suggest a pilot with a clear goal and price.
